exercise and brain function

Working out has always been a huge part of my life. I have been super active ever since I was an extremely young girl running around with my friends. Earlier today, I read an extremely interesting article about the benefits of working out. in Quartz’ blog post, he talks about how the benefits of working out surpass solely the physical aspect. He argues that there also is an emotional aspect as working out helps fight stress, improve control of attention, improved memory, and more. Upon researching this topic outside this blog post, it becomes clear that many other organizations think like Quartz. Help Guide agrees with Quartz’ statements and adds many other benefits including helping with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Fortunately, I never had to deal with these issues, but I can definitely tell that exercise has aided in many of my other problems throughout my life.
